Rosslyn, and the mystic line

Rosslyn, oh Rosslyn...

Who'll plumb thy mystic line?

What master of this mystery,

Can speak your place in time?

Who will stir the sleeping lady,

From her long and lasting sleep,

To raise the treasure of the King,

From the dark and murky deep.

Rosslyn, oh Rosslyn,

Who'll plumb thy mystic line?

What master of this mystery,

Might name your place in time?

The original castle stood where the chapel lies now, after being moved.

The epiphany window, said by some to hold the secret location of the grail is rich with symbolism of the Stars Balthasar a symbolism echo'd above the door at Rosslyn chapel. Bottom right of the window lies a pictorial of a green man sitting cross legged.

Ross meaning Rock, Lyn meaning waterfall.

Also depicted in the window is a Dove sitting atop a grate with falling water.

One thing unanimous with castles, they all have secret ways in and out in times of war to protect the king.

Has anyone taken a closer look at the Dove Coots or Waterfall said to inhabit the glen?

Also in the Window... a pictorial of a eagle astride a serpent. The flag of Mexico ties in nicely to those carvings of corn.

Amadis of Gaul. Whoever drew this sword from a rock was to gain access to a subterranean treasure.

At the death of Uter Pendragon there were many claimants to the crown; they were all ordered to assemble in “the great church of London,” on Christmas Eve, and found a sword stuck in a stone and anvil with this inscription: “He who can draw forth this sword, the same is to be king.”

The sleeping lady? The lady of the lake, the same lady said to guard the sword of kings?

But do people seek the cup of Christ for his glory or their own?

The arc of the covenant was said to be death to anyone who laid their hands upon it, the word of god, was written in stone!
